PURPOSE:To provide a titled compact and light device which has a long moving distance of a wire and a simple structure, by a method wherein a wire is driven through transformation of a bimorph type electrostriction vibrator, whereto a wire is attached, and a suction force of a magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A bimorph type electrostriction vibrator 9 is formed such that an electrostriction element 5 is sticked to a metal elastic plate 4, and one end is held by means of an attachement plate 6. The vibrator 9 is secured to a printing head assembly body 7 by means of a screw. An absorbing plate 8, made of a magnetic material, is attached to the free end of the vibrator 9 so that it is located between magnetic poles 11 and 12, positioned facing and opposite to each other, of a magnetic circuit 10 secured to the outside, and a wire 3 is held at the free end. Firstly, through the electrostriction force, the absorbing plate 8 is displaced in the direction of the magnetic pole 11, and afterwards, it is absorbed to the magnetic pole 11 through the working of both the electrostriction force and the absorbing force of the magnetic circuit. |
