PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for a vehicle capable of surely recording starting history of a microcomputer even if supplied operation voltage is relatively low at a time of start by a timer circuit. SOLUTION: When a host microcomputer 3 is started by the timer circuit 5, starting history of the host microcomputer 3 is recorded by changing a setting value stored by a register 38 in the timer circuit 5 from an original setting value.
