PURPOSE: Provided is a hair perm agent containing gold flakes to set a wave into the hair or straighten curly hair within a short time, to have long lasting hair styling effect, to remove unpleasant smell after permanent and to give good appearance due to gold flakes. CONSTITUTION: A hair perm agent containing gold flakes is characterized by consisting of a first agent containing a reductive material selected from thioglycolic acids and cysteines and a second agent containing oxidative material selected from hydrogen peroxide and sodium bromate. The aqueous solution composing the first agent contains 0.001-1.0 wt.% of gold flakes having a thickness of 0.01-1.0 micrometers and a diameter of 0.001-5.00mm, and 0.001-5.0 wt.% of thickening agent.
