PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable constituting small-sized constitution, and to attain stable reception of a digital satellite broadcasting signals of different PSK modulation systems. SOLUTION: A digital satellite broadcasting signal in a QPSK or 8PSK modulation system is inputted from a terminal 100, frequency-converted into a low frequency signal by mixer means 5 and 26, and supplied to a digital demodulating means 34. In this digital demodulating means 34, after the low-frequency signal is analog-to-digital has been converted by an A/D converter 29, and demodulated by a QPSK/8PSK demodulating means. At this time, a modulation system discriminating means 33 discriminates that the received signal is one of the QPSK or 8PSK modulation system from microcomputer 300 data, and a digital demodulating means 30 operates a demodulating operation corresponding to the modulation system based on the discriminated result. This demodulated output is error corrected or de-interleave processed by a QPSK/8 PSK-FEC means and is becomes a demodulated output 122. |
