PURPOSE:To steplessly control a variable speed induction motor so as to be preferable for a drive source for a fan, a pump, etc., by connecting windings wound on a plurality of stators in parallel with a power source. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized motor 35 is operated to rotate a rotary stator 31 with respect to a second stator 25 to regulate a voltage induced in a rotor 8, thereby stepless controlling the speed of the rotor 8. Here, windings 22, 23 wound on the stators 31, 25 are connected in parallel with a power source, and a plurality of conductors 5 are connected by short-circuit through a resistor (r) between a plurality of rotor cores on which the conductors 5 are mounted. Slip and torque characteristics become mixture characteristic of the characteris tic when a secondary resistor is inserted in a general wound rotor type induction motor and that when the primary voltage of a general induction motor is con trolled. |
