The present invention relates to a composition against inflammatory diseases using Litsea japonica, and more specifically, to a composition for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases, the composition containing, as an active ingredient, oil obtained from fruits or seeds of Litsea japonica, and to a method for preparing the same. According to the present invention, the fruits (excluding seeds) or seeds of Litsea japonica are used, and the oil used as an active ingredient of the composition for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases is obtained from the fruits (excluding seeds) or seeds of Litsea japonica using n-hexane. Here, the oil is obtained by differentiating the fruits (excluding seeds) or seeds of Litsea japonica from each other, feeding the n-hexane as a solvent to the fruits (excluding seeds) or seeds in 9-11 times the weight of the fruits (excluding seeds) or seeds, stirring the mixture for 24 hours at room temperature, performing extraction, and removing a hexane layer.
