Method for separation of contour includes operation of smoothing input image by means of convolution with Gaussian, calculation of gradient of input image in vertical and horizontal directions by means of one of operators of first derivative. After first smoothing one performs repetitive smoothing of image with following separation of points of intersection of boundary curves of input image and image obtained as result of repetitive smoothing, after that one calculates gradient in intersection points found, determines its value with obtaining thinner contour of image. |
